At a conference on child labour elimination from global supply chain called by the Dutch Deputy Prime Minister and the Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation in Leiden, the Netherlands, he boldly said that children should work not at factories but on their dreams. At the panel discussion along with the Minister of Social Affairs and Employment, the Netherlands, and Minister of Labour, Nigeria, he urged all to create that atmosphere for children globally
With his deep desire to generate wealth for the nation, to share ideas and initiate progress within the Bangladesh apparel industry, Mostafiz organized the DHAKA APPAREL SUMMIT on 27th February 2017.
The summit, run in association with the BGMEA offered a forum for discussion and action to advance the Bangladesh apparel and textile industries in a fair and equal manner, whereby jobs can be created, and the industry encouraged to develop in a way that offers a brighter future for all. Furthermore, as with Bangladesh Denim Expo, the Fashionology Summit and Sustainable Apparel Forum, Mostafiz used the local know-how and skills, creating numerous jobs for the construction and logistics of the event.
